Task 3

1. What were your expectations on starting the course?

I expected this course to be a lot different than what it is. I'm enjoying this course more than I thought I would and every class and lecturer are great. 

2. What are your initial thoughts on West College Scotland and the Media makeup course?

Cool college. Cool course. Cool people. Donald's v. cool. 

3. What is your funniest moment of college life so far? 

My funniest moment of my college life so far has to be every Tuesday afternoon getting our wig wraps stuck to our heads. Lol. HANNAH SAMANTHA ROSS FLEW HEAD FIRST INTO A PARTITION WALL AFTER WAKING UP ON THE FLOOR FROM A NAP HAHAHAHA. Was V. FAB



4. What is the most interesting thing you have learned or learned how to do so far?

Through out this course so far I have learned how to blog. Fun times. 

5. Who is your make up idol?

Bobbi Brown is my makeup idol because she is a professional makeup artist and the founder and CCO of Bobbi Brown cosmetics. Brown has written 8 books about makeup and beauty

6. Why do you want to be a MUA?

We have been asked to find a famous makeup artist and write up a small bio about them. The makeup artist I have chosen is Lauren Curtis, Lauren is a 21 years old from Australia who has 1.5 million subscribers on her YouTube Chanel, a viewership any magazine or blog could only dream to reach.



 Laurens talent started in her teenage bedroom at the age of 19 Laurens channel has since acquired international recognition due to her infections personality and never ending stockpile of tips and tricks.

Task 4 - essential make up

My favourite makeup product that I could not live without is THE fabulous M.A.C 'Relentlessly Red' lipstick at £15.50. I wear this red lipstick day to day or for going out on a night out. 


In our group of 4 we agreed that 'The Glossy Box' was other makeup products we love and could not live without. The glossy box you can get for £12.95 a month and you can get up to £60 worth of products.
